Business Card Text Ideas

August 21, 2009

Smart Design

Clarify the nature and identity of your business with text on your business cards. This can be useful if your business’ name doesn’t clearly identify what it is you do, or the industry you belong to.  Here at Digital Room, we have some ideas on how to achieve this.

Catch More Attention with Your Business Card Copy

Slogan or Catchphrase

Use a slogan or catchphrase that will help identify the nature of your business. Compose your slogan or catchphrase so that it is memorable. Remember that a short phrase that is straight to the point will catch more attention on your business cards than a longer one.

Values, Mission, or Vision

Inform your potential clients about what your business’ values and goals are. You never know; you may create a business relationship with those that follow the same ideals.

Descriptions of Service or Products

Include a short description of your services or products on your custom business cards. This way, your potential clients know what to expect from your business. The key is to avoid ambiguity. Don’t make your potential clients work for basic information about your company.
